Desert Island Cruising itinerary offer a close up and intimate view of the ‘real’ Maldives. Visiting uninhabited islands for snorkeling and swimming in the most pristine of blue lagoons, a vast array of marine life, and unspoiled dive sites for those of you diving. Each day will bring a new adventure, new experiences, and new friendships.
Day 1:
Arrival to Male International Airport, Dhoni transfer to the M/Y Honors Legacy.
Cruise to a SANDBANK near Maafushi for snorkeling, swimming and sun-bathing. Lunch will be onboard the Honors Legacy.
after the lunch, visiting the San bank for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing.
After the dinner onboard, we will organize cocktail party on the sand bank.
Day 2:
The morning cruise to the FOTTEYO Island. Lunch will be on board the Honors Legacy. During the afternoon, Honors Legacy will be cruising across the Atoll Channel to Vaavu Atoll, so sit back and relax – watch out for flying fish and dolphins!
Visiting the island once anchored for swimming, snorkeling and taking photos.
Late afternoon back to the boat to freshen up, and get ready for the wonderful and fun beach BBQ served on the island and beach party will be organized afterwards.
Day 3:
During a leisurely breakfast, cruise to the island BODUMOHORA in Vaavu Atoll, where we spend a rest of the day at leisure for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. A picnic lunch will be served on the island.
Day 4:
Sail to AMBARA Island where the whole day can be spent snorkeling, sunbathing and swimming. Lunch will be back on the Honors Legacy, after which you can return to the island.
Day 5:
This morning takes us to the picnic island of VASHUGIRI, a day for chilling out, prepare for a full island day! Sun umbrellas provided for that vital shade, great snorkeling to be had, and a lovely Picnic lunch to give you sustenance! You can head back to the Honors Legacy in the afternoon and freshen up and get ready for a barbeque under the stars, and a bit of limbo dancing!
Day 6:
Spend a full day on the uninhabited island of HULHIDHOO in Vaavu Atoll, which has a reef to snorkel, and crystal clear waters for swimming. After lunch on board the Honors Legacy, you can further enjoy what nature has to offer on the uninhabited island. Late afternoon will be back to the boat, and early evening we’ll head out for a spot of night fishing!
Day 7:
This morning we’ll be heading back into Male waters, with a quick stop en route for a last swim from a SANDBANK near to Rihiveli Resort. During the sailing lunch will be served on board, Reaching Male itself in time to visit this tiny capital for a couple of hours. This evenings highlight at the end of the itinerary will be a fabulous Maldivian evening, your chance to dress up in traditional attire, sample the local food, and party Maldivian style!
Day 8:
After breakfast, transfer by Dhoni back to the airport for international departure flight.
