Hanifaru-Bucht \u2013 Baa-Atoll<\/b><\/p>

Die Hanifaru-Bucht ist ein Paradies f\u00fcr alle, die gerne mit Mantarochen und Walhaien schnorcheln. Dieses UNESCO-Biosph\u00e4renreservat auf den Malediven ist gesetzlich als Meeresschutzgebiet ausgewiesen. Es gelten strenge Vorschriften, um dieses beeindruckende Naturwunder zu sch\u00fctzen und zu bewahren.<\/p>

Das Riff in der Hanifaru-Bucht gleicht einem Trichter mit einem Durchmesser von etwa 1.300 Metern; der innere, schmale Teil des Trichters ist etwa 600 Meter breit, und genau dort sind Walhaie und Mantas am h\u00e4ufigsten anzutreffen. Die Walhai-Saison dauert von Mai bis Dezember. In dieser Zeit sammelt sich Plankton im trichterf\u00f6rmigen Riff an, und diese hohe Planktonkonzentration lockt Walhaie und Schw\u00e4rme von Mantarochen an. Zu jeder Zeit k\u00f6nnen sich dort \u00fcber hundert Mantarochen und mehrere Walhaie aufhalten, die sich am Korallenriff ern\u00e4hren. Dies ist die weltweit gr\u00f6\u00dfte bekannte Futterstelle dieser Art.<\/p>

In der Hanifaru-Bucht kann man schnorcheln<\/strong>, Tauchen ist nicht mehr erlaubt. Beim Schnorcheln m\u00fcssen Sie einen angemessenen Abstand zu Walhaien und Mantarochen einhalten; ein Radius von 3 Metern vom Kopf des Walhais und 4 Metern von seiner Schwanzflosse ist der Mindestabstand, den Sie einhalten m\u00fcssen. Sie sollten sich den Tieren nicht von vorne n\u00e4hern oder ihren Weg kreuzen, sondern an ihren Seiten bleiben und mit den Walhaien mitschwimmen. Das Fotografieren ist erlaubt, jedoch ohne Blitz; Sie d\u00fcrfen keine Scooter oder motorisierten Ger\u00e4te verwenden, um sich fortzubewegen. Das Ber\u00fchren, Streicheln oder auch nur das Ann\u00e4hern ist verboten, und geschulte Ranger \u00fcberwachen Ihre Bewegungen.<\/p>

Vor der Einf\u00fchrung dieser Vorschriften war der Ort mit Booten und Touristen \u00fcberf\u00fcllt. Irgendwann ging die Population der Walhaie und Mantarochen in der Hanifaru-Bucht drastisch zur\u00fcck. Die Tiere k\u00f6nnten durch menschliche Eingriffe gest\u00f6rt worden sein. Daher sind die Vorschriften wichtig, um dieses beeindruckende Naturwunder zu bewahren.<\/p>
