Hanifaru-Bucht \u2013 Baa-Atoll<\/b><\/p>

Die Hanifaru-Bucht ist ein Paradies f\u00fcr alle, die gerne mit Mantarochen und Walhaien schnorcheln. Dieses UNESCO-Biosph\u00e4renreservat auf den Malediven ist als Meeresschutzgebiet ausgewiesen. Strenge Auflagen sch\u00fctzen und erhalten dieses einzigartige Naturwunder.<\/p>

Das Riff in der Hanifaru-Bucht hat die Form eines Trichters von etwa 1300 Metern L\u00e4nge. Der innere, schmale Teil des Trichters misst etwa 600 Meter, und genau dort halten sich Walhaie und Mantarochen besonders h\u00e4ufig auf. Die Walhai-Saison dauert von Mai bis Dezember. In dieser Zeit sammelt sich Plankton im trichterf\u00f6rmigen Riff, und diese Konzentration lockt Walhaie und Mantarochenschw\u00e4rme an. Zu jeder Zeit k\u00f6nnen sich \u00fcber hundert Mantarochen und mehrere Walhaie am Korallenriff aufhalten, um sich zu ern\u00e4hren. Es handelt sich um die weltweit gr\u00f6\u00dfte bekannte Nahrungsquelle f\u00fcr Walhaie und Mantarochen.<\/p>

In der Hanifaru-Bucht kann man schnorcheln.<\/strong>, Tauchen ist nicht mehr erlaubt. Beim Schnorcheln m\u00fcssen Sie unbedingt einen angemessenen Abstand zu Walhaien und Mantarochen einhalten. Der Mindestabstand betr\u00e4gt 3 Meter zum Kopf und 4 Meter zur Schwanzflosse. N\u00e4hern Sie sich den Tieren nicht von vorn und kreuzen Sie nicht ihren Weg. Bleiben Sie seitlich und schwimmen Sie mit den Walhaien. Fotografieren ist erlaubt, jedoch ohne Blitz. Die Nutzung von Rollern oder motorisierten Ger\u00e4ten zum Ziehen ist untersagt. Ber\u00fchren, Streicheln oder auch nur zu nahes Herankommen ist verboten. Geschulte Ranger \u00fcberwachen Ihre Bewegungen.<\/p>

Vor Einf\u00fchrung dieser Bestimmungen war das Gebiet von Booten und Touristen \u00fcberf\u00fcllt. Die Best\u00e4nde an Walhaien und Mantarochen in der Hanifaru-Bucht gingen daraufhin drastisch zur\u00fcck. Die Tiere k\u00f6nnten durch menschliche Eingriffe gest\u00f6rt worden sein. Daher sind die Bestimmungen wichtig, um dieses faszinierende Naturwunder zu bewahren.<\/p>
